Dr. Charles. S. Grimshaw, M.D.
- Dr. Charles S. Grimshaw, MD is a Board-Certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with a specialized focus on knee, hip, and shoulder conditions.
- Dr. Grimshaw has extensive experience in both primary and revision knee and hip replacement.
- Dr. Grimshaw is highly skilled in complex arthroscopic surgeries of the knee including ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage restoration.
- Dr. Grimshaw has expertise in arthroscopic surgeries of the shoulder including rotator cuff repair and labral repair.
- In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Grimshaw offers advanced conservative treatments for osteoarthritis, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) injections.
- Dr. Grimshaw is also experienced in treating orthopedic injuries and osteoarthritis in obese patients, taking a comprehensive approach to care that prioritizes both long-term health and functional outcomes.

More Information about Dr. Grimshaw
- Dr. Grimshaw trained with the team physicians for some of Houston’s most prominent sports teams, including the Houston Texans (NFL), Houston Rockets (NBA), Houston Astros (MLB), and Houston Dynamo (MLS).
- Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Grimshaw is actively involved in youth sports, coaching travel baseball for the Rawlings Tigers, among other youth sports leagues for his four children. He is also an Eagle Scout.
- Dr. Grimshaw provides workers’ compensation evaluations, independent medical examinations, and accepts private insurance, including Medicare, to ensure comprehensive care for a wide range of individuals.


Sherri Shoe, PA-C
Physician AssistantSherri has over 20 years of orthopedic surgery experience as a Physician Assistant. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Iowa and went on to earn a Master of Medical Science degree at Saint Louis University’s PA program. Her role includes conducting office visits, injections, surgical assisting, and patient education in collaboration with Dr. Grimshaw. She enjoys seeing patients return to an active lifestyle and being involved in their care from start to finish. Sherri is married with two teen daughters. Outside of caring for orthopedic patients she enjoys attending her children's events, outdoor pursuits, travel to National Parks, and reading.
Christina Scifres
Workers’ Compensation Coordinator and Medical AssistantCamping, four wheeling, reading, and cherished moments with family and friends are just a few of Christina’s favorite things. She has worked as a Registered Medical Assistant for nine years. Five years spent in Orthopedics, with the rest of her time spent in Pain Management, Family Medicine, and being a part of the Medication Assisted Recovery team. Christina works as a Workers’ Compensation Coordinator and Medical Assistant to Dr. Grimshaw and Sherri.


Kevin Anderson
Medical AssistantHiker, music enthusiast, foodie, dog lover... all words that have been used to describe Kevin. He has worked as a medical assistant for twelve years, ten of which have been in orthopedics. With love and a smile, he graciously offers assistance to all those he encounters in need.
